Twitter Bio: Janet L. Cannon earned her BA and MA in English and has taught technology apps, math, and music, but never, “Do you want fries with that?”

Cannon, teacher and group exercise instructor, earned her BA and MA in English, and has worked a variety of jobs from custodian to interpreter for the deaf to stuffing envelopes. Her hobbies include origami, duct tape crafts, world drumming, jewelry making, and role-playing games with friends. Dice hate her.

 

General Bio (sir!): Janet L. Cannon has taught technology to children and adults for since 2001. She enjoys teaching people of all ages a variety of world music and obscure crafts, but also enjoys learning new skills herself. She has worked with both the state and local writers’ guilds on various projects including conference planning. Her publishing credits include a technical manual, short stories, flash fiction, a brochure and video script for a local museum, and Twitter fiction. 

 

BIG LONG Bio: Since 2001, Janet L. Cannon has taught technology to both children and adults. She enjoys teaching students of all ages various skills including world drumming, origami, crochet, and duct tape crafts, but also enjoys learning anything new herself. She is a certified RPM (spinning) and BodyPump instructor and loves it when her classes groan at the end of a workout.

 

Her previous editing positions include the newsletter for a local middle school, the state writers' guild newsletter, and the local runners’ guild newsletter. She served on the committees for both the state and local writer's conference committees and designed the website for the All Write Now! conference.

 

Her publishing credits include a technical manual, short stories, flash fiction, Twitter fiction, a brochure and video script for a local museum, and a science fiction anthology of stories she edited about colonizing Mars. Her Master’s degree is in English with an emphasis in technology integration. Revision is a Dish Best Served Cold is the name of her blog, featuring articles on how things change. How anything changes, including life.

She lives with her very patient husband.
